The 2027 YES Drive is a powerful all-mountain freestyle snowboard built for riders who like to push their riding harder across the whole resort. With a directional twin shape and a more supportive flex, it brings extra stability and response compared to softer freestyle boards while still keeping the balanced feel riders want for jumps, side hits and park laps. It’s the kind of board that rewards confident riding and encourages you to carry speed and attack the mountain with intent.

On snow the Drive feels energetic and precise thanks to its camber-dominant profile and reinforced construction. The camber delivers strong edge hold and snap when loading the board into turns or popping off features, while the Y3D shaping subtly lifts the edges near the contact points to keep the ride smoother and less catchy when transitioning between turns. Combined with the directional twin outline, the board remains balanced enough for freestyle riding but noticeably more composed when carving or riding faster terrain.

Tech Features

  • Multi Radius Sidecut
The Multi Radius sidecut blends several radii along the edge to create smoother turn initiation and more consistent edge hold through the full length of the carve.
  • Fluid Core
The Fluid Core uses a lightweight wood construction designed to maintain consistent flex and response. It balances durability and stability while keeping the board lively underfoot.
  • Triax + Freestyle L Carbon
Triax fiberglass increases torsional rigidity and overall board strength, while Freestyle L Carbon reinforcement improves snap and energy transfer for more responsive riding.
  • High Camber + Y3D Profile
The High Camber profile provides strong edge hold and powerful response, while Y3D base shaping helps the board transition edge to edge more smoothly and adds forgiveness in varied snow conditions.
  • Sintered Base
A dense sintered base provides strong glide and durability. It absorbs wax effectively and maintains speed across groomed terrain and softer snow.

About YES

YES Snowboards was founded in 2009 by professional snowboarders DCP, Romain De Marchi, and JP Solberg. The brand was created with a focus on rider driven snowboard design, prioritising performance, durability, and innovative shaping concepts.

Over the years YES has developed several shaping technologies including UnderBite and MidBite sidecuts, which redistribute pressure along the snowboard edge to improve grip and carving performance while maintaining smooth control across varied terrain.

The Drive sits in the YES lineup as a versatile directional twin built for riders who want strong carving performance combined with freestyle capability across the resort.
