Seasonal Casual Retail Positions — A Passion for Snowboarding Essential

Ballistyx is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our retail team in a casual capacity.

We’re Melbourne's longest-standing independent snowboard store — rider owned and operated, with a reputation for quality gear, expert service, and a deep commitment to the snowboard community.

This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about snowboarding and looking to be part of a professional, fast-paced retail environment over the winter season and beyond.

About the Role
 You’ll be working on the shop floor, assisting customers with snowboard hardware, outerwear, and accessories. From first-timers to seasoned locals, we aim to give every rider the right advice and the best gear.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for snowboarding — this is non-negotiable.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with a wide range of customers.
  • Retail experience is preferred but not essential — we’re happy to train the right person.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and take pride in doing things well.
  • Availability on weekends and Thursday/Friday late-night trade is important.
