V3 Traction Snow Chains – KAS Series

The V3 Traction 9mm Auto-Tension Wheel Chains are the low-clearance option for drivers who need proper diamond-pattern snow chains but do not have enough room around the tyre for a standard 12mm chain. They are primarily suited to lighter passenger vehicles, modern cars with tighter wheel arches and other suitable vehicles where the owner’s manual specifies a low-profile chain.

The auto-tensioning system keeps fitting straightforward when conditions are already working against you. Connect the inner cable, attach the two outside self-tensioners and drive, with no separate rubber tensioners and no need to stop shortly afterwards to tighten everything again. The 9mm diamond-pattern construction provides the traction and stability needed for Victorian alpine roads while taking up less space inside the wheel arch than the regular 12mm version. Always confirm the recommended chain clearance, tyre size and driven wheels in your vehicle’s owner’s manual, and test-fit the chains before heading to the mountain.
