Mason Silva footage usually needs a second watch. Huge pop, heavy spots and enough speed to make the run-up look sketchy before he’s even left the ground. His 2020 Skater of the Year title was well earned, and his parts are still essential viewing.
The Black Sunday Cathedral is Mason’s take on REAL’s Cathedral series, on an 8.25" popsicle. A solid choice if Mason’s skating is your thing and 8.25" is your size. What you jump down is up to you.

About REAL Skateboards
Started in San Francisco in 1991 by Tommy Guerrero and Jim Thiebaud, REAL has backed generations of skaters who let their skating do the talking. Dennis Busenitz, Ishod Wair, Mason Silva, Chima Ferguson, Jimmy Wilkins. You could spend a whole afternoon watching that lot and still have plenty left.
The oval has been under some of skateboarding’s best feet for over three decades, and REAL keeps giving us reasons to pay attention. Watch a video, find a shape you like and go skate.
