Some pro models need the name attached to them. The NB Numeric Jamie Foy 306 has Jamie Foy attached to it, which is a completely different proposition. Foy was already a certified skateboarding monster when he took Thrasher’s Skater of the Year in 2017, then somehow came back and did it again in 2024, putting him amongst a tiny handful of twice-crowned SOTYs. Massive rails, filthy kinks, ridiculous spots and that unmistakable Big Boy stomp have made him one of the defining street skaters of this generation. The 306 is his first New Balance Numeric pro model, and it was built for exactly the kind of punishment you’d expect from the bloke wearing it.
At its heart the 306 is a classic low-profile vulcanised skate shoe, but New Balance has beefed up the places that normally get destroyed first. Rubber sits underneath the suede for extra life through the flick zone, mesh panels keep things breathable, and the sole stays thin and responsive enough to give you the boardfeel Foy himself prioritises. There’s proper impact protection underfoot for harder landings too, giving the 306 a little more substance than your average vulc without turning it into a tank. Tough, grippy and properly skateable, it’s a pro shoe worthy of one of the heaviest hitters in modern skateboarding.

About The Brand
Founded in Boston in 1906, New Balance has earned its place as one of footwear’s most respected names through more than a century of fit, function and proper shoemaking. The brand still operates its own factories in the United States and United Kingdom, carrying a manufacturing heritage that few major footwear companies can match. New Balance Numeric brings that same depth of experience into skateboarding, combining its proven cushioning and support technology with purpose-built construction, genuine board feel and direct input from one of the strongest teams in skateboarding. The result is skate footwear with real heritage behind it, built to be skated rather than simply borrowing the look.
