Masterfit Instaprint+ X-Sport Custom Snowboard Boot Insoles
Masterfit Instaprint+ X-Sport Custom Snowboard Boot Insoles
Custom insoles are the gold standard in snowboard boot fitting and one of the best upgrades you can make to your boots.
Most snowboard boots come with a thin, generic factory insole that offers very little support. A professionally made custom insole gives your foot a stable, personalised foundation inside the boot, helping improve fit, comfort, control and overall riding performance.
Every pair of Masterfit Instaprint+ Custom Insoles is assessed, moulded, built and finished by a qualified Ballistyx bootfitter in the Ballistyx Boot Pit.
This is not an off-the-shelf insole that is simply trimmed and dropped into your boots. It is a hands-on fitting process shaped around your individual feet, snowboard boots and riding needs.
The Custom Insole Process
Your appointment begins with a proper assessment of your feet and snowboard boots. Your bootfitter will look at:
- Foot shape and width
- Arch profile
- Heel position and stability
- How your feet behave when weighted
- Pressure areas or existing fit concerns
- The internal shape and volume of your snowboard boots
The Masterfit Instaprint+ insoles are heated and moulded around your feet to create a personalised shape.
Once formed, each insole is carefully built, posted, finished and adjusted by your bootfitter so it sits correctly inside your snowboard boots.
The result is a custom insole that supports your feet more effectively and gives the entire boot fit a stronger, more stable foundation.
Better Support Means Better Performance
Your feet are the connection point between your body, boots, bindings and snowboard. When the foot is properly supported inside the boot, your movements can be transferred more efficiently to the board.
A stable and supported foot can improve balance, control and power transfer while reducing unnecessary movement inside the boot. This can make your inputs feel cleaner and more direct, helping your snowboard respond more precisely through turns, variable snow, landings and more demanding terrain.
Custom insoles can help improve:
- Balance and stability
- Edge control and board response
- Power transfer through the boot
- Heel hold
- Fit precision
- Comfort and pressure distribution
- Shock absorption
- Endurance during longer days on the mountain
Better support also allows you to focus more on your riding and less on pressure points, discomfort or your feet moving around inside your boots.
Why Factory Insoles Fall Short
Factory snowboard boot insoles are designed to accommodate as many different feet as possible. They are generally flat, lightly cushioned and provide very little structural support.
They do not account for your individual arch shape, heel position, foot movement or stance.
A custom insole is shaped specifically around your feet and professionally fitted into your boots. This creates a more stable platform beneath the foot and allows the boot to hold and respond more effectively.
You do not need to be an advanced rider to benefit from custom insoles. Better support, comfort and control can make a meaningful difference for snowboarders at every ability level.

Custom insoles also give your bootfitter a more stable foundation for any additional fitting or modification work that may be required.
