The Axtion is Bent Metalβs most versatile binding, built to handle whatever the day turns into. With a true medium flex and a platform that stays predictable across different terrain and riding styles, it suits riders who want one binding that can move between park laps, side hits, and all-mountain cruising without feeling out of place. It is an easy match for beginner riders progressing quickly, as well as experienced riders who prefer a binding that allows movement rather than locking them into a rigid feel.
The Axtion combines a magnesium fiber Flex Control Drive Plate with a uni-body nylon chassis to create a balanced interface that blends support with freedom of movement. A performance polymer highback offers controlled support without overpowering the board, while the canted footbed and integrated heel shock pad help manage impact and maintain comfort through longer sessions. Bent Metalβs Dual Band ankle strap with a soft compression window provides secure hold while allowing the boot to flex naturally, paired with a Grip Form toe strap designed to work across a wide range of boot shapes. The result is a binding that feels adaptable, comfortable, and confident across the whole mountain.

About Bent Metal Binding Works
Bent Metal Binding Works is a snowboard binding brand born out of Mervin Manufacturing, the company behind Lib Tech and GNU. Founded in the mid-2000s by engineers and lifelong snowboarders, Bent Metal was created with a singular focus on bindings as a performance-critical part of a snowboard setup, not an afterthought. Every product is designed and tested with real riding in mind, backed by decades of experience in snowboard manufacturing and culture.
Known for its no-nonsense approach, Bent Metal blends functional design with deep ties to core snowboarding through long-standing relationships with riders, artists, and Mervinβs competition heritage. The result is a binding line built to last, built to be ridden hard, and built by people who understand how snowboard equipment actually gets used on the hill.
