The BCA Stash 40 is for the backcountry salty dogs, guides and committed maxi-packers who somehow always end up carrying the extra layer, repair kit, rope, lunch and half the crew’s gear. With 40 litres of space, it is built for long touring days, technical objectives and overnighters where a smaller pack stops being clever and starts becoming a liability.

The layout is properly mountain-minded too, with a dedicated tool compartment for shovel, probe and skins, broad back-panel access, A-frame or diagonal ski carry, vertical snowboard carry and attachment points for a helmet and two ice axes. Add hydration compatibility, BC Link integration and a supportive carry system, and the Stash 40 is the dependable hauler for riders who go deep, stay out late and pack for the day they might actually have.

About BCA

Backcountry Access was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1994 by committed backcountry riders with a clear focus on making mountain travel safer and more accessible. BCA helped push avalanche safety forward with the first digital multi-antenna transceiver and has since built a full range of trusted beacons, airbags, radios, shovels, probes and technical packs. Their gear is made to be reliable, straightforward and easy to use when conditions are serious, backed by a strong commitment to snow safety education and better decision-making in the backcountry.
