The Nidecker Gun is exactly what the name suggests. At one hundred and seventy four centimetres long it is the biggest weapon in Nidecker’s arsenal and a board that exists for riders who believe bigger is better. It comes in one size and that size is big. Big mountains, big faces, big turns and the kind of terrain where speed and commitment are part of the fun. Pull this off the rack and nobody will mistake it for an everyday snowboard, but that is precisely the point. The Gun is built for riders who want to make huge, confident lines and who quietly know that sometimes being a bit of a size queen is completely justified.

Despite its outrageous length, the Gun has been shaped so it remains surprisingly manageable underfoot. The Surfy CamRock profile blends camber between the feet with rocker in the nose and tail, giving it the edge hold and drive needed for committed carving while the long rockered nose helps it stay composed in deeper snow. Nidecker’s shaping keeps the board far more maneuverable than its 174cm length suggests, letting it transition edge to edge and tighten up turns far quicker than most riders expect from something this big. A stiff flex, Triax Plus fiberglass and Pop Carbon Plus provide the backbone to stay calm at speed, while the lightweight Light Core keeps the platform lively rather than feeling like a plank. The result is a board that thrives on huge terrain and massive turns, yet still feels like something you can genuinely ride rather than just admire on the wall.

About The Brand

Nidecker is one of snowboarding’s oldest and most respected names, with roots in the Swiss Alps dating back to 1887. Originally a ski manufacturer, the company began producing snowboards in the early 1980s and quickly built a reputation for its engineering-focused approach to board design. Decades later the brand remains family owned and still based in Switzerland, combining deep manufacturing experience with a genuine connection to the culture of snowboarding.

Today Nidecker sits at the centre of one of the most influential groups in snowboarding, alongside brands like Jones, YES. and Rome. Their boards are designed around smooth turn initiation, dependable edge hold and a balanced feel on real mountain terrain. The result is equipment that feels intuitive from the first run and continues to reward riders as their skills progress. Nidecker’s focus has always been simple: build reliable, well-designed snowboards that help riders get more out of every day on the hill.
