The 2027 Jones Dreamweaver leans into that classic directional freeride feel, but without the stiffness or intensity that can make some freeride boards feel like work. It’s built for riders who want something that naturally wants to go downhill, link turns and explore a bit more of the mountain, without needing to be on edge every second. There’s a calmness to how this board rides that makes it really easy to trust, especially when conditions aren’t perfect.

That comes from the way the shape and profile work together. The camber underfoot keeps it stable and predictable when you’re carving, while the rocker in the nose takes the edge off when the snow gets softer or uneven. Add in the slight taper and setback and the board just settles into turns without fighting you, helping it feel smooth and composed rather than reactive. The Master Core keeps things light and responsive, and the biax glass rounds everything out so the flex feels even and controlled. It’s a board that doesn’t demand much input, but still gives you enough back to keep things interesting.

Key Features

Terrain – Freeride / All-Mountain
Designed for riders who want a confident all-mountain board that performs well in powder while remaining stable and predictable across varied terrain.

Shape – Directional
A directional outline with a longer nose and slightly shorter tail improves float in softer snow while maintaining stability and control when riding faster terrain.

Profile – Hybrid Positive
Camber between the feet provides strong edge hold and response while rocker in the nose helps the board lift naturally in softer snow.

Flex – 6/10
A medium flex that balances stability and manoeuvrability, making the Dreamweaver accessible while still capable across a wide range of mountain conditions.

Tech Features

  • Hybrid Positive Profile – Camber between the feet provides edge hold and response while rocker in the nose improves float and turn initiation in softer snow.
  • 3D Contour Base – Subtle spoon shaping in the nose and tail lifts the contact points slightly away from the snow, smoothing turn entry and reducing the chance of edge catch.
  • Directional Shape with 5mm Taper – A slightly wider nose compared to the tail helps the board plane naturally in powder while maintaining stability when riding firmer terrain.
  • 20mm Setback Stance – The stance is positioned 20mm toward the tail which helps shift rider weight rearward for improved float and stability in softer snow.
  • Master Core – A dual-density wood core constructed from Paulownia and Poplar. Paulownia reduces weight while Poplar adds strength and rebound for a lively yet durable feel.
  • Biax Fiberglass – Fiberglass layers oriented in two directions provide a smooth and forgiving flex pattern while maintaining predictable torsional response.
  • Sintered 8000 Base – A durable, high-density sintered base that absorbs wax well and maintains strong glide across a wide range of snow conditions.
  • Premium Topsheet – A durable topsheet construction designed to resist chipping while keeping the board lightweight.
  • 12-Pack Inserts – A traditional insert pattern that allows riders to fine-tune stance width and positioning.
  • Forever Flex – The board is pre-broken in during production so the flex pattern remains consistent over time.
  • Factory Tuned – Tip and tail edges are factory detuned so the board rides smoothly straight out of the wrapper.
  • WEND Natural Wax – Factory waxed with WEND natural wax for immediate glide and a more environmentally responsible base treatment.
  • Bio Resin – Plant-based epoxy used in construction to reduce reliance on petroleum-based resins while maintaining strength and durability.
  • Recycled ABS Sidewalls – Sidewalls made from recycled ABS material improve durability while reducing manufacturing waste.
  • Recycled Steel Edges – Steel edges manufactured using recycled materials reduce environmental impact without sacrificing durability.
  • Solar Powered Production – Jones snowboards are produced in a factory powered by renewable solar energy as part of the brand’s Eco-Performance manufacturing program.

About Jones Snowboards

Jones Snowboards was founded by big mountain rider Jeremy Jones with the goal of building equipment designed for real mountain environments. Since launching in 2009, the brand has become known for progressive freeride board shaping, durable construction and performance-driven technologies that prioritise control, float and stability in challenging terrain.

A defining part of the brand’s philosophy is its Eco-Performance approach. Jones works to reduce environmental impact through responsible materials and manufacturing, including bio-based epoxy, recycled edges and sidewalls, natural wax and production powered by renewable energy.

The Dreamweaver reflects this approach by combining accessible freeride performance with the shaping and construction techniques that define the Jones lineup, creating a board designed to help riders explore more of the mountain with confidence.
