The 2027 Jones Frontier 2.0 is a directional all-mountain board that leans into freeride without making things complicated. It’s easy to get along with from the first run, with a shape that naturally wants to turn, hold an edge and move through variable terrain without needing perfect input. This is the kind of board that suits riders who want to explore more of the mountain, get into softer snow and build confidence off groomers, without stepping onto something overly stiff or demanding.

On snow, it’s all about flow and control. The Directional CamRock profile gives you a stable platform underfoot with enough camber to keep things predictable when you’re carving, while the rocker in the nose helps the board lift and stay moving when the snow gets deeper. The softer 4/10 flex makes it easy to initiate turns and keeps the ride forgiving, while the Medium 3D Contour Base and 3D Flip Tip help the board roll smoothly edge to edge and stay loose enough to handle uneven snow. Underneath, the Master Core and biax glass keep things light and consistent without feeling flimsy, and the overall result is a board that feels intuitive, smooth and confidence-building across a wide range of conditions.
