The Arbor Red Gerard AM is a youth freestyle board built with far more grunt than most boards in this category. It’s designed for younger riders already riding with speed and purpose, putting time into jump lines, park laps, and early-stage competition riding. The directional twin shape, camber profile, and firm flex give it a more serious, planted feel underfoot, making it well suited to riders who are starting to push harder, go bigger, and demand more support out of their setup. It sits firmly on the performance side of youth boards, with a focus on control, stability, and progression at higher speeds.
On snow, the parabolic camber profile creates a strong, consistent edge feel with smoother engagement at the contact points, helping reduce the twitchiness that can come with full camber. The directional twin layout keeps things balanced enough for switch riding and freestyle takeoffs, while still offering a slightly more composed feel when riding forward. The 6–7 flex adds stability through jump approaches and landings, and holds its line well when the board is under pressure. The Highland core and mixed glassing keep the response lively without feeling unpredictable, and the sintered base maintains speed across jump lines and flatter sections. The overall feel is fast, stable, and supportive, giving riders a platform that keeps up as their riding continues to progress.
