Low speed jib riding, high end fun

The YES. Shifter snowboard is built for park riders and jibbers who want a playful, responsive ride. With a true twin shape and a soft flex, it’s perfect for pressing, sliding, and spinning through the park or weaving through trees with confidence.

Featuring the innovative Y3D profile, the Shifter reduces edge catching in the nose and tail, making it easier to lock into rails and land tricks smoothly. Its balanced flex keeps things forgiving while maintaining enough stability for controlled takeoffs and landings.

Durable and dependable, the YES. Shifter is a park-focused snowboard designed to handle everything from slushy spring laps to rugged rail sessions with ease.

Key Features

  • Shape – True Twin with Y3D
A fully symmetrical twin shape gives the Shifter 3D a balanced feel in both directions, making it well suited to switch riding, park laps and freestyle progression. The Y3D shaping in the nose and tail helps reduce edge catch for a smoother, more forgiving ride.
  • Profile – Jib Camber
Jib Camber gives the Shifter 3D approachable pop and edge control without making it feel overly aggressive, giving riders a stable platform for rails, presses, side hits and general freestyle riding.
  • Flex – 5/10
A mid-soft flex keeps the board easy to manoeuvre and forgiving underfoot, while still giving it enough support for confident park laps and playful all-mountain riding.

Tech Features

  • Poplar / Paulownia Core
A 50/50 blend of poplar and paulownia keeps the board light, responsive and durable. Poplar adds consistent flex and strength, while paulownia helps reduce weight without making the board feel weak underfoot.
  • Biax Fibreglass
A two-direction fibreglass layup that creates a smoother, more forgiving torsional flex. This makes the Shifter 3D easier to control, especially for riders who want a playful board for park, rails and freestyle progression.
  • Extruded Base
A durable, low-maintenance base that is easy to repair and simple to look after. It is a practical choice for park riding, rail sessions and riders who want less tuning upkeep.
  • Forever Flex
YES pre-breaks in the board at the factory to help stabilise the flex and profile. This gives the Shifter 3D a more accurate flex from day one and helps it keep that feel for longer.
  • Y3D Freestyle
YES’ all-mountain freestyle 3D base profile uses a medium-width centre base, medium side-base uplift and a medium start point to the uplift. This helps the board roll edge to edge smoothly, reduces edge catch and gives it a more stable platform for sketchy run-ins and landings.

About YES. Snowboards

Born in 2009 from the brains and boards of DCP, Romain de Marchi, and JP Solberg, YES. Snowboards has always done things its own wayβ€”no suits, no filters, just pure rider-driven design. With innovations like UnderBite, Tapered UnderBite, MidBite, and Directional Volume, they’ve reimagined how boards carve, float, and charge. Now rolling with the Helgason brothers and longtime friend JF Pelchat, YES. continues to blur the lines between freestyle chaos and all-mountain precisionβ€”building gear that rides loud, turns heads, and says no to boring.
