The ThirtyTwo ZB-1 is Zeb Powell’s first proper pro model boot, and it lands exactly where you’d expect: bold, loose, creative and hard to ignore. Built with a lace-and-strap layout that brings a heavy basketball-sneaker flavour to the boot wall, the ZB-1 has that Zeb energy straight away. It is made for riders who want to press, tweak, slash, bonk, side-hit and generally treat the whole mountain like a playground.
On paper ThirtyTwo call it a 7/10 flex, but the feel is more freestyle-friendly than that number suggests. The fully injection-moulded 3D tongue gives it a smooth, progressive flex, while the Hybrid Power Strap adds extra hold across the lower boot when you want to crank things down. You still get the adjustability and classic feel of traditional laces, backed by a Performance Liner, internal harness, Evolution Foam cushioning and a proper heel hold kit to keep it supportive enough for bigger landings and faster riding.
