2026 Lib Tech Mayhem Sweetfish Snowboard
Matt Biolos’ Ultimate Powder Predator
The Mayhem Sweetfish is a pure powder weapon, designed in collaboration with legendary surf shaper Matt Biolos aka Mayhem and pro snowboarder Austen Sweetin. Part of Lib Tech’s experiMENTAL Division, this board takes surf-inspired shaping to the next level, delivering effortless float, smooth carving, and unmatched style in deep snow. Austen Sweetin’s input helped refine the board’s agility and responsiveness, making it a true powder-surfing machine. Featuring artwork by Jim Zapala, the Sweetfish is built to keep the nose high and the tail deep, maximizing float and maneuverability in deep powder.
The Directional Traditional Camber Profile provides powerful response, stability, and pop, while a mild early-rise rocker in the long nose ensures easy float and smooth transitions in deep snow. The winged swallowtail design sinks the tail effortlessly, keeping the board nimble and locked in when slashing turns. With a radial sidecut for fluid carving and no Magne-Traction®, this board is all about smooth, natural edge hold and surfy flow.

Key Features
-
Shape – Super Directional Winged Swallowtail
A long, wide nose gives the Sweet Fish strong float and smooth turn entry, while the winged swallowtail reduces surface area through the tail so it can sink naturally in soft snow. The result is a directional powder shape that feels surfy, fast and controlled through deep turns. -
Profile – Directional Camber
Directional camber gives the board power, precision and stability through the effective edge, while mild early rise in the long nose helps it plane more easily in deeper snow. -
Flex – 7/10
A strong medium-stiff flex gives the Sweet Fish enough power for fast carving, loaded turns and powder landings, while still keeping it smooth enough for slashy, surf-inspired riding.
Tech Features
-
Original Power Construction + Sintered Base
Lib Tech’s OP+ construction pairs a lightweight, strong wood core with a fast sintered base, giving the Sweet Fish a lively ride feel with the glide needed for powder days and high-speed resort riding. -
OP+ Core
A lightweight aspen and paulownia wood core that balances strength, pop and reduced weight, helping the Sweet Fish feel responsive without being heavy underfoot. -
Triax / Biax Fibreglass
A blended fibreglass layup that adds strength, response and torsional control, giving the board a stable feel through carves while keeping enough smoothness for surfy powder turns. -
Sintered Knife-Cut Base
A fast, durable sintered base built for strong glide and wax retention, helping the Sweet Fish carry speed through deep snow, flats and open resort turns. -
Eco Sublimated Topsheet
A lower-waste topsheet process that keeps the board’s graphics durable while reducing the environmental impact of the finishing process. -
Radial Sidecut
A clean single-radius sidecut that gives the Sweet Fish smooth, predictable turns and a flowing carve feel without the added bite of serrated edge tech. -
No Magne-Traction
The Sweet Fish skips Magne-Traction for a cleaner, more natural edge feel. This suits the board’s surf-inspired shape and keeps turns smooth and fluid through powder, soft groomers and open carves.
