2026 Lib Tech Mayhem Rad Ripper Snowboard
Matt Biolos’ Freestyle Powerhouse from the experiMENTAL Division
The Mayhem Rad Ripper is the ultimate blend of surf-inspired flow and freestyle aggression, designed in collaboration with legendary surf shaper Matt Biolos aka Mayhem, and featuring artwork by Steve Carranza (@carranzaart). Part of Lib Tech’s experiMENTAL Division, this board takes design cues from high-performance surfboards, translating them into a park-minded resort ripper that rips turns, boosts off side hits, and dominates park features with style and control.
The Centralized Traditional Camber Profile delivers explosive pop, edge hold, and stability, keeping you locked in through turns and responsive underfoot for powerful freestyle riding. The progressive twin sidecut allows for deep carves and locked-in turns, while the slightly wider shape minimizes toe drag and enhances stability at speed. Built with Lib Tech’s eco-friendly Original Power Construction (OP+), this board is lightweight, durable, and packed with pop, featuring a sintered knifecut base for maximum speed in all conditions.

Key Features
-
Shape – True Twin with Progressive Sidecut
A true twin shape gives the Rad Ripper a balanced freestyle feel in both directions, while the progressive sidecut adds stronger carving performance on groomers, hardpack and high-speed resort lines. -
Profile – Centralised Traditional Camber
A solid classic camber platform gives the Rad Ripper strong pop, edge control and stability underfoot. It is built for riders who want a more precise freestyle board that can handle park laps, pipe, side hits and powerful resort carving. -
Flex – 6/10
A medium-stiff flex gives the Rad Ripper enough support for aggressive freestyle riding while still keeping it lively and manageable for park, side hits and all-mountain resort riding.
Tech Features
-
Original Power Construction + Sintered Base
Lib Tech’s OP+ construction pairs a lightweight, strong wood core with a faster sintered base, giving the Rad Ripper a more responsive ride feel and better glide for higher-performance freestyle riding. -
OP+ Core
An aspen and paulownia wood core that keeps the board light, poppy and strong, giving the Rad Ripper the snap and response needed for aggressive freestyle and resort riding. -
Triax / Biax Fibreglass
A blended fibreglass layup that adds strength, torsional control and energy transfer, helping the board stay stable through carves while keeping enough freestyle feel underfoot. -
Sintered Knife-Cut Base
A fast, durable sintered base built for stronger glide and better wax retention than a basic extruded base, making it better suited to riders who like to carry speed through park, pipe and resort lines. -
Eco Sublimated Topsheet
A lower-waste topsheet process that keeps the graphics durable while reducing the environmental impact of the finishing process. -
No Magne-Traction
The Rad Ripper skips Magne-Traction for a cleaner, more traditional edge feel. This keeps the board smooth and predictable through freestyle take-offs, landings and carved turns.
