2026 Lib Tech Lib Rig Snowboard
Austen Sweetin’s Ultimate All-Terrain Powerhouse
The Lib Rig is built for riders who want one board to charge everything. Designed in collaboration with Austen Sweetin, this board blends high-speed power, deep carve precision, and effortless float into a true all-terrain machine. Whether you're ripping steep faces, trenching deep carves, or slashing powder, the Lib Rig is your daily driver for aggressive freeride domination. Featuring artwork by Austen Sweetin (@austensweetin), this board’s graphics reflect the same energy and passion he brings to riding—bold, fast, and uncompromising.
Designed with a mild volume shift, this board features a shorter contact length, meaning you should ride it 1-2cm longer than your normal board for optimal performance
The Early Rise Directional Camber profile delivers stability and power underfoot with a subtle early rise in the nose for effortless float and turn initiation. The mild taper and deep carving sidecut provide powerful edge hold and smooth turn initiation, making it perfect for riders who love to lay down high-speed carves. Built with Lib Tech’s Original Power Construction (OP+), this board is lightweight, strong, and incredibly durable, with a rugged knifecut sintered base that keeps you fast in all conditions.

Key Features
-
Shape – Directional with Mild Taper
A directional shape with a full-sized floaty nose and slightly tapered tail gives the Lib Rig strong float, smooth turn exits and confident control in mixed resort snow. The tail is still functional enough for switch take-offs and landings, but the board is clearly built to drive harder in your natural direction. -
Profile – Early Rise Directional Camber
Camber underfoot gives the board stability, power and precise edge control, while early rise in the nose helps it float more easily and initiate turns smoothly in softer snow. -
Flex – 7/10
A medium-stiff flex gives the Lib Rig the support needed for high-speed carving and aggressive all-mountain riding, while still keeping enough smoothness for surfy turns and natural terrain.
Tech Features
-
Original Power Construction + Sintered Base
Lib Tech’s OP+ construction pairs a lightweight, strong wood core with a fast sintered base, giving the Lib Rig a responsive ride feel with the glide needed for powerful resort riding and powder days. -
OP+ Core
An aspen and paulownia wood core that balances strength, pop and reduced weight, helping the Lib Rig stay lively and responsive without feeling heavy underfoot. -
Triax / Biax Fibreglass
A blended fibreglass layup that adds strength, torsional control and energy transfer, helping the board stay composed through carves while keeping the ride feel smooth and manageable. -
Sintered Knife-Cut Base
A rugged, fast sintered base built for strong glide, wax retention and durability, giving the Lib Rig the speed to carry through powder, open groomers and chopped resort snow. -
Magne-Traction®
Lib Tech’s serrated edge technology adds extra contact points along the sidecut, giving the Lib Rig stronger grip and more confidence on hardpack, ice and scraped-out sections. -
Eco Sublimated Topsheet
A lower-waste topsheet process that keeps the graphics durable while reducing the environmental impact of the finishing process. -
Mild Volume Shift Design
The Lib Rig uses a shorter contact length with wider, no toe-drag waist widths. Lib Tech recommends riding it 1–2cm longer than your normal board for the best balance of float, edge hold and all-mountain performance.
