Arbor Satori Snowboard – Bryan Iguchi's GOAT board

The Arbor Satori is a directional, surf-inspired board built for riders who want float, speed, and creative control across the mountain. Designed by Bryan Iguchi, the Satori pairs Arbor’s System Camber profile with a tapered shape and medium flex for a ride that’s fast, responsive, and surprisingly nimble in deep snow.

With its wider platform and shorter length, the Satori floats effortlessly in powder while staying quick edge-to-edge on groomers and variable terrain. It carves smooth arcs, slashes turns with power, and encourages a playful approach to natural features and bowls.

Eco-conscious construction, timeless shaping, and Bryan Iguchi’s design legacy make the Satori a true all-mountain surf machine that doesn’t sacrifice stability or edge hold when the conditions get steep.

Key Features

  • Shape – Directional Twin
A volume-based directional twin shape gives the Satori a unique mix of freestyle balance and freeride float. Its longer nose, deeper sidecut and short-build design make it feel quick and surfy, with Arbor recommending riders size down for the intended ride feel.
  • Profile – System Camber
Arbor’s System Camber combines parabolic camber with lifted contact points, giving the Satori strong edge hold, pop and stability while keeping turn initiation smoother and less catchy.
  • Flex – 6–7/10
A medium-stiff flex gives the Satori the support needed for fast resort riding, sidecountry lines and deeper turns, while still keeping enough playfulness for creative all-mountain riding.

Tech Features

  • Highland II Core
Arbor’s lightweight Highland II Core uses poplar and paulownia to reduce weight while keeping the board strong, lively and responsive underfoot.
  • Real Wood Powerply
Arbor’s signature real wood topsheet adds a natural finish and reduces reliance on synthetic topsheet materials.
  • Mixed Glassing
A blend of biaxial and triaxial fibreglass gives the Satori a balance of torsional forgiveness, response and stability for resort, sidecountry and fresh snow riding.
  • Sintered Base
A fast, durable base that holds wax well and delivers strong glide when properly maintained.
  • Grip Tech 3.25mm
Larger additional contact points underfoot extend 3.25mm beyond the sidecut, giving the Satori stronger edge hold and more control on firm, icy or variable snow.
  • Fender 5ΒΊ
Arbor lifts the outer contact points by 5ΒΊ to create smoother turn entry, reduce edge catch and add a looser, more manoeuvrable feel in soft or variable snow.
  • Bio-Plastic Topsheet
A topsheet made with bio-based material to reduce reliance on traditional petroleum-based plastics while keeping the finish durable.
  • 360ΒΊ Fully Wrapped Sidewalls
Full perimeter sidewall construction improves durability and helps protect the board through regular resort and sidecountry use.
  • Recycled Steel Edges
Durable steel edges made with recycled content, giving the board reliable edge hold while reducing material impact.
  • 2x4 12-Pack Inserts
A standard 2x4 insert layout with 12 insert positions for stance adjustment and reliable binding compatibility.
