The Compact is built for all-mountain performance. The standard camber profile provides camber underfoot for snap and response with a long, rockered nose for float and turn initiation. Quadratic Sidecut improves turn initiation, exit and edge grip as well. Slimewalls® offer up a smoother ride and increase durability by absorbing impact. Roll-In sidewall construction increases board strength and reduces board weight.

The Compact is a soft-flexing directional all-mountain board that allows riders of all ability levels to have fun on the mountain.

Key Features

  • Shape – Directional Twin
A directional twin shape gives the Compact an easy, versatile feel with enough balance for switch riding and freestyle progression, plus a little extra stability and float when riding forward across the resort.
  • Profile – Directional Hybrid Rocker
Directional Hybrid Rocker uses more rocker than camber, giving the Compact easier turn initiation, better forgiveness and extra float from the longer rockered nose, while still keeping camber underfoot for response and edge control.
  • Flex – Mellow
A soft, mellow flex makes the Compact easy to steer, forgiving through mistakes and playful underfoot, making it well suited to newer riders and cruisier all-mountain progression.

Tech Features

  • WMNS Performance™ Core
Ride’s women’s-specific core combines lightweight paulownia wood stringers with high-strength aspen, keeping the Compact light, durable and easy to manoeuvre.
  • Slimewalls®
Ride’s urethane sidewalls absorb vibration and impact, giving the board a smoother, more forgiving feel while adding strong sidewall durability.
  • Biaxial Glass
A 90° and 0° fibreglass layup that creates a softer, more forgiving flex, helping the Compact feel easy to control and fun to ride.
  • Single Impact Plates
Reinforcement plates under each binding area improve compressive strength and help protect the board where it takes the most pressure.
  • Extruded Base
A durable, low-maintenance base that is easy to repair and simple to look after, making it practical for everyday resort riding and progression.
  • Quadratic Sidecut
A three-radius sidecut that improves turn initiation, grip and turn exit, helping the Compact feel smooth and predictable through a range of turn shapes.
  • Roll-In Construction
A 3D structure built around Ride’s urethane Slimewall® sidewalls to increase board strength, reduce weight and help prevent topsheet chipping.
