The Vans Verse Range Edition is the more backcountry-minded version of the Verse, built for riders who need a powerful boot with extra mobility when the day involves bootpacks, travel, touring-style movement or just a lot of time on your feet. It is a stiff, advanced-level boot with strong heel hold, serious support and a wider range of motion than a standard high-performance resort boot.
The 6-9/10 flex gives the Verse Range Edition a powerful feel underfoot, while the Adaptive Range Mode lets you open the boot up for more natural movement when you are hiking or moving through uneven terrain. The V3 Range Edition UltraCush liner, PopCush footbed, SuperEnduro Waffle outsole and Dual BOA fit system all work together to keep the boot supportive, grippy and comfortable when the conditions get more demanding.
Key Features
A stiff, supportive flex range built for advanced riders who want strong response, confident edge control and enough adjustability to suit bigger terrain.
Vans’ premium Range Edition liner package adds cushioning, support and moisture management for long days in cold, variable conditions.
A high-comfort footbed that improves cushioning, impact absorption and underfoot support through longer days on snow.
A durable, high-traction outsole built for cold weather grip, giving the boot better footing when hiking, traversing or moving around exposed snow terrain.
Tech Features
A boot-walk mode that increases range of motion through the upper boot, making the Verse Range Edition easier to move in when hiking, travelling or spending time off the board.
Helps protect the lower boot from snow and moisture while giving you a secure attachment point for gaiters.
Reinforced toe protection adds durability and structure in a high-wear area of the boot.
Removable tongue stiffeners let you tune the support level of the boot, giving the Verse Range Edition more control over how powerful or forgiving it feels.
Built to help manage internal moisture while reducing water entry, keeping the boot more comfortable through changing conditions.
Allows more natural ankle movement while reducing shell distortion, keeping the boot supportive without making it feel blocky.
A BOA-specific flex zone over the instep that helps the boot close more naturally and reduces pressure when the system is tightened.
An external cuff strap that adds upper boot support and lets riders fine-tune response around the shin.

About Vans Snow
Vans has been core since 1966, and Vans Snow still feels like one of the few big names that belongs in board culture rather than just borrowing from it. Their snow program keeps backing riders with real style, creative direction and time on board, not just contest results.
This year, riders like Cannon Cummins and Blake Paul keep that energy moving, with projects like Vans Snowboarding Presents: For A Friend | Snow | VANS showing the side of snowboarding Vans has always understood: riding with friends, filming clips, chasing good conditions and making it look effortless.
That is what makes Vans snow gear easy to stand behind at Ballistyx. The boots, outerwear and accessories carry the same DNA as the classics: simple style, proper function and a clear connection to skate, snow and creative riding.
