Slappy’s ST1 Inverted Hollow Lights are built for skaters who want trucks that feel dialled in straight out of the box and hold up through every session. By flipping the kingpin upside down, these trucks give you way more clearance—so Smiths, Feebles, and crooked grinds lock in clean without hang-ups. Combine that with hollow axles, a forged baseplate, and geometry tuned for quicker turns, and you’ve got a truck that’s lighter, sharper, and smoother than most. Designed by Mike Sinclair and tested endlessly in the streets, these are trucks made by skaters who actually skate.

Key Features

  • Inverted Hollow Kingpin – Extra grind clearance keeps the kingpin out of the way for smoother Smiths and Feebles.
  • Hollow Axle & Kingpin – Shaves off weight without sacrificing strength.
  • Forged Baseplate – Stronger, lighter, and more durable than cast alternatives.
  • Quick-Turn Geometry – Responsive steering that feels precise under your feet.
  • No Break-In Time – Bushings ride smooth from day one.
  • Reduced Wheelbite – Smart geometry helps keep wheels off your deck on deep turns.

About The Brand
Slappy Trucks came to life in Mike Sinclair’s garage during lockdown, when years of skating and industry know-how turned into an obsession with building a better truck. After countless tweaks and test runs, the ST1 series was born—Standard, Hollow, and Inverted setups that turn smooth, grind clean, and cut down on hang-ups. There’s no big company pulling the strings here, just a skater making trucks he actually wants to ride, with a name that tips the hat to one of skateboarding’s simplest joys: the slappy.
