The team at GNU took the tried-and-true Gremlin, got it wet, fed it after midnight, and turned the dial all the way up. The Turbo Gremlin is the sharper, faster, more technical evolution of a cult classic, built for carving hard, riding fast, and letting things get a little out of hand. Narrower, stiffer, and reinforced with carbon, it takes the Gremlin’s mischievous personality and gives it the tools to go full send.
The narrower waist lets the Turbo Gremlin roll edge to edge quickly and bite hard into hardpack and ice, while the increased stiffness and carbon reinforcement add snap and urgency when you load it up. Up front, the oversized nose brings heaps of float, keeping the board planing effortlessly in soft snow and letting you stay centred and driving instead of hanging off the back. It punches through chop, lays trenches when conditions firm up, and stays calm when things get fast and serious.
Still unmistakably a Gremlin at heart, the Turbo version just has more bite. It’s lighter on its feet, quicker to respond, and far more eager to be pushed hard through turns and terrain. A proper carving and freeride weapon with a sense of humour, built for riders who like their boards fast, floaty, and a little bit unhinged.

About The Brand
GNU is one of the original innovators in snowboard design, with roots going back to the late 1970s. Still built in the United States by Mervin Manufacturing, GNU has spent decades challenging established ideas around how snowboards should be shaped, constructed, and ridden. Many of the design concepts that underpin modern snowboarding trace back to GNU’s early experimentation with sidecuts, camber theory, and edge technology, making the brand a foundational part of the sport’s technical evolution.
Alongside its technical legacy, GNU has always placed strong emphasis on creativity, rider expression, and responsible manufacturing. The brand works closely with artists for its graphics, supports a progressive and influential team of riders, and remains committed to environmentally conscious production practices. GNU’s identity is defined by independence, curiosity, and a long-standing dedication to snowboarding as both a craft and a culture.
