The 2027 Rome Agent is one of those boards that makes a lot of sense for a lot of riders. It sits in that all-mountain freestyle lane where it still feels centred and playful enough for park laps and switch riding, but has enough support underneath it that you’re not boxed into only riding mellow features. It’s a true twin with a medium flex, so it feels balanced, predictable and easy to trust when you want one board that can handle a bit of everything.
What makes the Agent work so well is that the construction stays simple in the right places. The Fusion Camber profile gives you proper camber between the feet for edge hold and stability, but with a smoother, less punishing feel out towards the tips, so it doesn’t feel catchy or overly serious. Rome uses Bamboo Omega HotRods here, which keep the board feeling lively and reactive without adding too much stiffness, and the Biax fibreglass keeps the flex a bit more mellow torsionally so it’s easier to manipulate and less demanding than some of the more aggressive boards in the line. Add in the Twin Double Kick at the tips and you get a board that feels clean, forgiving and properly fun without losing the support that makes it such a reliable all-rounder.
