Key Features

• Shape – Directional
  A directional shape with more surface area in the nose, a shorter tail and 50mm of setback gives the Mellow strong float and smooth turn initiation in soft snow. It is built to feel surfy and natural through powder while still holding a confident line on groomers.
• Profile – Surfy CamRock
  Surfy CamRock uses extended rocker in the nose with regular camber through the rest of the board. This helps the Mellow glide over powder and chopped snow while still giving it drive, edge hold and power through turns.
• Flex – Mid-Stiff
  A mid-stiff flex gives the Mellow a lively, responsive feel with enough support for higher speeds, stronger carves and confident all-mountain riding.

Tech Features

• Master Core
  Nidecker’s Master Core combines poplar and paulownia to create a light, strong and responsive wood core with reliable energy transfer underfoot.
• Pop Carbon
  Carbon fibre is positioned between the inserts and the nose and tail, boosting ollie power while helping dampen chatter through rough snow.
• Premium Sandwich Construction
  A step up from Nidecker’s standard sandwich construction, adding carbon stringers for more pop, quicker edge response and improved shock absorption.
• Triax Plus Fibreglass
  A three-direction fibreglass weave using different glass densities above and below the core, giving the Mellow stronger torsional response, better pop and a more consistent flex.
• N-7000 Hybrid Base
  A durable hybrid base that combines the low-maintenance feel of an extruded base with the hardness and glide of a sintered base, giving the Mellow strong speed without demanding constant upkeep.
• Absorbnid Topsheet
  Nidecker’s vibration-absorbing top layer helps reduce unwanted chatter for a smoother ride with less fatigue.
• 4x2/6 Inserts
  Six rows of inserts at 2cm intervals give the Mellow broad stance adjustability and compatibility with standard snowboard bindings.
