Designed with surf shaper Chris Christenson, the Mind Expander concept has always been about bringing the loose, flowing feel of a surfboard into deep snow. The 2.0 version refines that idea with a new shape and updated construction that keeps the playful soul of the original but adds a little more control and versatility when the terrain gets steeper or more technical. It remains a unisex board built for riders who want to draw creative lines through powder rather than simply charging straight down the fall line.

The Mind Expander 2.0 is shaped around Jones’ Surf Camber profile, combining camber between the feet with rocker in the nose and tail. This keeps the board energetic and responsive while helping it lift naturally in deep snow. The directional outline works with a 20mm setback stance and 10mm of taper to move surface area toward the nose, allowing the board to plane over the snow easily even in deeper conditions. Underneath, the High 3D Contour Base introduces significant spoon shaping through the nose and tail which smooths turn entry, reduces edge catch and gives the board its signature surf-style flow. A Paulownia and Poplar Master Core keeps weight down without sacrificing strength, while the Carbon Flax reinforcement adds snap and vibration control so the board stays lively and composed when the terrain opens up.
