RIDE MANIC 2019 SNOWBOARD
The Ride Manic is not as manic as you think. In fact it is a light, chilled board that is mellow and easy to initiate those turns, featuring a directional rocker shape to keep those weekends easy and cruisy. If you want to go faster, that is cool. Slimewall will keep the ride luxurious and shut that speed chatter up, so you can just push down the mountain like a maniac. It doesn't shy away if you decide to take an adventure and go down a steeper path you normally wouldn't. With carbon stringers from tip to tail, you might be surprised to find that you pop the greatest ollies out of all the kids in the park, if you choose to do so. The Ride Manic 2019 will look after you.
Profile: Directional Hybrid Rocker
Specialty: All Mountain
DIRECTIONAL HYBRID ROCKER:
A directional shape with a hybrid profile that has more rocker than camber.
Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.
Tip-to-tail Aspen wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex.
RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
LINEAR CARBON LAMINATES:
Two strips of carbon added below the core provide more snap for ollie power.
SINGLE IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES:
Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most.
BIAXIAL GLASS FIBERGLASS:
90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.
