HOW DOES BALLISTYX SHIP MY ORDER TO ME?

All Ballistyx online orders ship Australia wide *FREE.  Most orders will be processed and shipped within 24 hours of order being placed, if there is going to be a delay we will notify you.  If you would like to arrange an express delivery where applicable, charges will apply.  For all orders containing snowboards please leave an extra 24 hours to receive the FREE board prep and service.

A physical postal address must be given, as couriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

There are shipping charges for international orders. You will be quoted before transaction is completed.

Ballistyx uses a number of ways to get your order to you in the quickest, safest and most efficient way. You will have your transaction receipt emailed to you as well as a tracking number and courier login details that will allow you to keep track or your package.

Victoria, NSW & SA - 2 to 3 business days

Queensland - 3 to 5 business days 

WA, North QLD & others - 5 to 10 business days

 All quoted delivery times are based on standard working days i.e. Mon - Fri (excluding public holidays etc). Keep in mind for orders containing snowboards please leave an extra 24 hours to tune and prep the snowboard. If you live in a far away location please allow extra time for delivery.

Our Return Policy 

An RA number (Return Authorisation number) MUST be obtained before returning any item. To obtain your RA number please email info@ballistyx.com.au with the following details:  

Full name 
Delivery address

Item you are wishing to return and why

14-Day Return Policy (Domestic & International Orders)

Ballistyx offers the hottest brands and the highest quality goods. If you have not received the correct item or the item is defective, return the item in its original condition including all original tags clean, unworn within 14 days to be assessed.  All shipping costs on returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. In the event of a faulty item, the return shipping cost will be refunded to you once goods have been received in good order.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your order or our return policy, send us an email at info@ballistyx.com.au. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method, such as registered post, which requires a signature upon delivery. Products must be returned in their original condition including tags & packaging. If goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them we reserve the right to refuse such returns.

Are you eligible to return your item?  Any item returned without original tags, original packaging, has been worn, damaged or tarnished will not be accepted by Ballistyx.  If the item is eligible, please follow the following 3 simple steps.

 

Step 1: Obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number.
You may obtain this "RA" number from our customer service representatives via email at info@ballistyx.com.au. (You must obtain an "RA" number before shipping your item, any returned goods without an RA number may not be accepted and any refund or exchange may be forgone.)
Step 2: Package your goods.
Be sure to package your goods properly. Any goods returned that is not in its original condition will not be accepted. Please write your name, your order number and the "RA" number on the outside of your package. This will ensure correct and quick processing time. Please note: It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the package is posted correctly. Ballistyx is not responsible for any goods that are lost, damaged or stolen while in transit back to us. We recommend sending goods via a carrier that requires a signature upon delivery like registered post.
Step 3: Ship your item(s) to us.
You must pay for the shipping cost to return the item(s). If the item is being returned due to our error, you will be refunded for the original shipping charges incurred once we have received the returned goods and the item is inspected and approved for resale.

EXCHANGES

Ballistyx strives to offer you only the best brands and products. We will exchange an item if it was shipped in error or for a different size. Keep in mind that if the size you need is not available you will receive a credit note or option to choose another item. Sale items cannot be exchanged so please choose carefully. If the item was shipped in error Ballistyx will cover all shipping costs, however if you have made an error you will be responsible for getting the item back to us and covering the cost of shipping the new item. Ballistyx will not exchange and ship a new item without receiving the incorrect item back in the store in a new condition.

 

I THINK I HAVE A WARRANTY/FAULTY PRODUCT WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Warranty Policy 

In the event a item appears to be faulty please return item as per below policy and steps. All warranty claims will be assessed by the manufacturer and/or manufacturers representative and will be repaired, replaced or credited at their discretion. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature upon delivery. Products must be returned with original proof of purchase or a warranty claim cannot be processed. Ballistyx! always tries to have as quick a turnaround as possible, however please allow at least 7 to 10 days for a warranty claim to be processed.

MY ORDER HAS NOT ARRIVED, WHAT DO I DO?

Your order more than likely was shipped from Ballistyx within 24 hours of placing order. If for any reason, there is a delay we will let you know. Depending on where you are (see below) deliveries can be delayed by the on-forwarder for reasons beyond our control. You will receive an email from us with your purchase receipt and couriers tracking number with details on how to login. Using this you will be able to see where your order is.

HOW CAN I CHECK MY ORDER STATUS?

Ballistyx makes contact with you a few times through your purchase. You will receive an order confirmation from us via email when you place your order. Once the purchase has been confirmed at our end we will email you a purchase receipt as well as your tracking info and courier login so you can keep an eye on things every step of the way.

CAN YOU SHIP TO P.O. BOXES?

Most of the items Ballistyx sells online requires shipping through a courier due to the size of the packaging. Due to this we require a physical address from you to ship to.

WHAT IS "PACKAGING & HANDLING"

Package & Handling (P&H fee) is essentially a labour and materials charge, and is separate from the Shipping charges.

Items that are shipped have to be individually prepared and boxed for cross country shipping.

One example is that there are no "pre-fab" boxes when we're shipping larger items. "Boxes" must be custom-built around many of these products.

The boxes are labelled for shipping, the shipment is scheduled with the chosen freight company, and freight documents prepared. The packing materials used, and this time-consuming process, is what you see as "Package and Handling".

 

LAY-BY POLICY

  1. Only goods with a value of more than $80.00 can be placed on lay-by.
  1. A minimum deposit of 20% of the value of the item is required as a deposit, a lesser amount maybe accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager.
  2. Layby period is strictly 4 weeks.
  3. Fortnightly payments are required, you may pay in person or over the phone.
  4. Layby will be returned to stock if payment is not completed by the scheduled date.
  5. You may cancel your layby but due to the seasonal nature and forwarded ordering requirements a termination fee of 10% of the purchase price will be charged and retained by Ballistyx Snowboards Pty Ltd for each week the layby has run if you cancel your layby. For example if you cancel at two weeks 20% will be charged, 3 weeks 30% will be charged and four weeks 40% will be charged.
  6. Laybys cannot be separated to provide part of contents or opened to supply individual items.
  7. Title to all layby goods is retained by Ballistyx Snowboards Pty Ltd until payment is made in full.

 

RETURN POLICY

All products may only be returned if there is an error or defect in material or manufacturing. If so, you may return the product to us within 7 days of receipt for a refund, replacement or credit. All returns must come back to us in the original packaging with a copy of your receipt.

Our return policy is easy and hassle-free. Simply give us a call at (03) 9870 9991 to obtain a return authorisation and return freight must be prepaid.

After a returned item is received an inspected at Ballistyx, a credit or refund will be issued. All Warranty Claims must be assessed by the manufacturer/distributor in all circumstances. The manufacturer/distributor will repair or replace the item at their discretion. Processing can take anywhere between 5 to 14 working days.

Items returned after 7 days will be subject to a restocking charge.

Any products which have been modified or damaged by the customer will not be accepted for return and there are no returns on any special order or sale and discounted items.
